Coffee to Capital is the University of Toronto's premier networking club designed to bridge the gap between students and professionals in capital markets and consulting. The program's core purpose is to provide students with direct access to experienced upper-years, alumni, and industry professionals, equipping them with the knowledge, connections, and insights needed to succeed in these competitive fields.
As part of the Coffee to Capital initiative, students have the chance to participate in annual firm visits, designed to give students an inside look at top-tier firms in Canada. This experience allows students to observe firsthand the day-to-day workings of leading financial institutions, network with professionals in their office environments, and gain a better understanding of the industry's culture and expectations.
2025 CTC
2025 CTC Mentee x TD Firm Visit
The networking program at CTC is designed to gradually build the professional network of students, aiding them with the recruitment process. The program begins with teaching participants the key skills they need to effectively connect with others. Students are also paired with an upper-year mentor who provides guidance based on their experience.
This mentorship is followed by the mentee reaching out and connecting with industry professionals. As students advance through the program, they also engage in mock interviews, ensuring they're well-prepared for the interview process for recruitment.
